Re: Nexplanon Arm Implant

That’s very clever about the ovulation tests. I would never have thought of it! Thanks :)

Re: Nexplanon Arm Implant

Hi Emily, Thanks for this. Yeah I was kind of worried about the possibility of it being a ‘dud’ like not releasing hormones or something. A few questions if you don’t mind please: - Do you know if minor pelvic cramping (like period pains but no period) is a side effect of the implant? I’ve been havi...

Nexplanon Arm Implant

Hey! So, I had the Nexplanon arm implant inserted for the first time last week. So far, I wouldn't say I've had any side effects, aside from some minor pelvic cramping, which I'm not sure is anything to do with the implant or not? Anyway, obviously it would be great to have no side effects, but I'm ...

Re: Progesterone Only Pill

Hi Holly, In terms of effectiveness, the minipill and the combination pill are at about the same level (around 90/91% effective with typical use). When thinking about side effects, the thing the keep in mind is that even if a side effect is common, it's not necessarily a guaranteed thing you'll exp...

Progesterone Only Pill

Hi I'm wondering if you could please help out with some questions about the mini pill (Cerelle), which I was recently prescribed (I've never been on the pill before) by my GP. I am unable to go on the combined pill due to migraines. However I am slightly concerned about the progesterone only pill be...
